We’re seeking a strategic, people‑centered Human Resources Director to lead HR operations, culture, and talent strategy across a multistate, primarily hourly/driver-based workforce. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR leader who thrives in fast‑paced, field‑heavy environments and knows how to elevate both people and processes.
What You’ll Lead
- Strategic HR & Culture: Build and execute best‑in‑class HR policies, strengthen organizational culture, and partner with executive leadership to enhance collaboration and employee experience.
- Talent Strategy: Support talent initiatives for an hourly wage workforce; partner with Corporate TA to drive strong recruiting outcomes; oversee onboarding and new‑hire orientation.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Lead investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations; manage all employment law matters including EEOC responses; ensure compliance across all locations.
- Training & Performance: Develop leadership training for middle management, define HR KPIs, and recommend strategies to reduce turnover and absenteeism.
- Operational HR Leadership: Manage HR staff, oversee HR programs across corporate and regional teams, and serve as the primary HR partner for internal stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of HR leadership experience, including multi‑location or regional oversight
- SPHR, GPHR, or similar certification
- Proven success supporting 500+ employees in field‑based or technical environments
- Strong expertise in employment law, employee relations, compensation, and organizational planning
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and relationship‑building skills
- Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail
