Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and facilitating HR processes across all business locations. This position is responsible for administering employee health and welfare plans, serving as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is highly administrative and detail-oriented, providing critical support across HR functions including benefits, onboarding, recruitment coordination, and HRIS management.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Process benefits documentation with payroll and insurance providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR programs and benefits.
- Complete and maintain Form I-9 documentation in compliance with federal requirements.
- Coordinate background checks and submit investigation requests for new hires.
- Reconcile benefits statements and assist with audits of payroll, benefits, and HR programs.
- Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, and terminations.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, tracking candidate status in HRIS, and managing candidate communications.
- Coordinate employee travel arrangements and logistics as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR documentation.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing documentation.
- Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related HR or administrative experience.
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must have sufficient visual acuity to read printed and digital documents.
Compensation
$32.00 - $36.00 per hour
