We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join an international real estate organization with a growing multi-country footprint.
In this role, you will provide technical support, system administration, and user training across the organization. Your primary focus will be ensuring the day-to-day stability and performance of the JD Edwards ERP system, maintaining availability, data integrity, and alignment with local business processes.
You will act as a facilitator between users and systems, helping teams work more efficiently, improving processes, and ensuring smooth operations across multiple entities.
🔧 What You’ll Do
You will support the organization across operational IT, user support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as first line support for JD Edwards (core modules used by finance, property management, procurement, fixed assets) and integrated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and user‑access issues; escalate to JD Edwards functional/technical teams or vendor support when needed.
- Manage user accounts, roles, security and segregation of duties (SoD) across country deployments.
- Support users across multiple countries and business units Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and processes
- Produce and maintain technical and user documentation, runbooks and change logs.
- Deliver user training, create how‑to guides, and run change management for JD Edwards workflows and process changes.
- Coordinate with regional IT, external JD Edwards consultants and business process owners for projects, rollouts and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, backups, DR plans and data privacy/regulatory requirements per country.
🎓 What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Information Systems, or similar (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support, ERP support, or similar roles
- Basic understanding of ERP systems (e.g. finance modules like AP/AR/GL) — JD Edwards is a plus, not required
- Experience with user management, access rights, and general IT support environments
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. once per month)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on mindset
- Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users in a clear and structured way
- Comfortable working in an international environment and occasional travel
