IT Manager
Location: Netherlands (Flexible)
Salary: Up to €90,000
We're working with a scaling, tech-enabled eCommerce business expanding its European footprint and building the infrastructure to match. They move pre-loved goods at volume across multiple warehouse sites, and now they need an IT Manager to own the technology that keeps it all running.
This is a build role. The Netherlands operation is growing fast, the foundations need work, and you'll have the autonomy to shape the IT function from the ground up. That means defining your team structure, establishing coverage across two sites and building a support operation that runs reliably between 7am and 10pm.
Responsibilities as IT Manager:
- Take full ownership of IT operations, infrastructure, and support across both Netherlands locations
- Build and lead the regional IT team, defining roles and coverage to meet the demands of a growing warehouse operation
- Maintain core infrastructure including networks, servers, operating systems, security tools, and end-user devices
- Lead IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and network improvements across both sites
- Implement security controls, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity processes
- Own the full IT asset lifecycle: procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal
- Manage vendor relationships and contribute to budget planning
- Partner with site leaders and cross-functional teams to align IT with operational needs
- Report into the Head of IT and support expansion into additional European locations as the business scales
Requirements:
- 3+ years leading IT operations and support teams, ideally across multiple sites
- Strong knowledge of networks, servers, cloud services, and end-user computing
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint or MDM solutions
- Proven ability to implement IT security controls, backup, and recovery processes
- Understanding of GDPR and IT compliance requirements
- Strong people leadership skills, including building and developing teams
- Fluent English; additional European languages a bonus
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands, with flexibility to travel between sites
