We’re a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturing company seeking a proactive, hands‑on HR Business Partner to support our expanding workforce. This is a high‑impact individual contributor role reporting directly to the General Manager, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys building structure, and is confident managing the full spectrum of HR responsibilities.
You’ll serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leaders, ensuring compliance, driving HR operational excellence, and supporting a strong, people‑focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Compliance & Policy Management — Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain and update policies, employee files, and required documentation.
- HR Administration — Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration support, HRIS updates, and reporting.
- High‑Volume Recruiting — Manage full‑cycle recruiting for manufacturing, technical, and professional roles; partner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs in a competitive market.
- Employee Relations — Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders; investigate and resolve employee concerns; coach managers on performance, engagement, and communication.
- Culture & Engagement — Support initiatives that strengthen employee experience, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
- Workforce Planning Support — Partner with leadership to anticipate talent needs and support organizational growth.
What You Bring
- Experience as an HRBP, HR Generalist, or similar role supporting 100+ employees in a manufacturing facility.
- Strong working knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruiting in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Ability to build trust, influence leaders, and navigate sensitive employee relations matters.
- Comfortable operating independently, prioritizing effectively, and making sound decisions.
- Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
- Union experience is a plus.
