Human Resources Generalist | Corporate | Full-Time | Remote

As we continue to grow across multiple states, we are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our teams and help drive an exceptional employee experience throughout the organization.
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for delivering both strategic and day-to-day HR support across a multi-state organization. This position partners closely with leaders to address employee relations matters, interpret and apply policies, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and the overall employee experience.
This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in applying HR principles, assessing risk, and recommending solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment and brings a continuous improvement mindset to HR processes and systems.
Your Role:
- Serve as a strategic partner to leaders, providing guidance and recommendations on employee relations and policy interpretation
- Independently investigate and resolve employee relations issues; assess risk and recommend appropriate actions
- Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent and equitable application across the organization
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee experience
- Analyze trends and recurring issues to recommend proactive solutions, including policy or training updates
- Support ADA accommodations and workers' compensation processes in partnership with leadership
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support audits and reporting requirements
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and employee handbook
- Partner cross-functionally to support organizational initiatives and drive alignment across teams
- Support employee engagement strategies and initiatives
- Leverage AI and technology tools to improve HR workflows, enhance data analysis, streamline documentation, and drive operational efficiency while ensuring appropriate use and data privacy standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience; experience supporting multi-site environments preferred
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce and navigating state-specific employment laws preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations best practices
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complex situations
- Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred) and HRIS systems (Paylocity experience a plus)
