Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and placement of both permanent and temporary employees.
- Monitor staffing requisitions to ensure budget approvals align with position control requirements.
- Analyze labor market trends and workforce availability to develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and other recruitment functions.
- Build and maintain effective communication with applicants, department leaders, supervisors, employees, and external partners.
- Develop, coordinate, and track recruitment advertising, including posting strategies, costs, and campaign results.
- Manage internal and external job postings to ensure timely and accurate candidate outreach.
- Review, screen, track resumes and employment applications.
- Evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements, conduct initial screening interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and department directors.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable federal, state, and regulatory employment guidelines.
- Coordinate and facilitate the employment offer process.
- Manage and oversee the utilization of agency-provided temporary staff to meet organizational staffing needs.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Previous hospital or healthcare recruitment experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal employment laws and regulations impacting recruitment and hiring practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required. Workday preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
