Financial Controller (Part-Time - 24h/week) | Panda International | Amsterdam

We’re currently going through a full operational reset:
- Moving from manual → system-driven.
- Outsourcing payroll & compliance.
We’re not hiring a traditional finance person.
We’re hiring someone to own the numbers in a business that’s being rebuilt for scale, a chance to build the financial backbone of a scaling business
The role
- Controlling revenue and margin.
- Budgeting and forecasting, in close cooperation with CFO.
- Oversee NL, CH, Belgium, Germany.
- Bringing clarity where there is complexity.
- Building real financial visibility in a contract-heavy business.
- Own gross profit accuracy and margin control.
- Build weekly reporting (GP, cash, contractor profitability).
- Identify margin leakage and inefficiencies.
- Ensure alignment between payroll, invoicing, revenue and insurance companies.
- Act as the control layer over outsourced payroll/compliance.
- Improve processes and reduce manual reconciliation.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and sit at the centre of the commercial engine.
What we’re looking for
- 4–8 years in a Finance Controller role.
- Ideally experience in recruitment, staffing, or contract revenue models.
- Strong commercial mindset (not just technical finance).
- Comfortable with imperfect data and building structure.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and proactive.
