We are seeking an experienced
IT Service Desk Officer to provide first-line IT support within a global organization. This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing Service Desk team focused on delivering excellent customer support and achieving a high rate of first-call resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries via the Service Desk
- Provide local and remote IT support to end users
- Log, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests efficiently
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and identify trends
- Monitor and analyze service desk metrics to improve performance and service quality
- Communicate incidents, problems, and outages clearly to users
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Proactively suggest improvements to enhance system stability and prevent recurring issues
Requirements
- Completed vocational (MBO) or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
- Basic understanding of IT processes (e.g., ITIL) and Lean methodologies
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory)

Additional Information
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the work location
- Full-time on-site presence is required during the onboarding period
- Candidates must be exclusively available for this opportunity (no parallel applications)
