Human Resources Assistant
📍 Location: Greater Portland Metro Area
💲 Compensation: $23-$30/hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and recruitment activities
- Prepare employment documents, offer letters, and new hire paperwork
- Track employee training, compliance requirements, and HR files
- Enter and maintain data within HRIS and related systems
- Provide administrative support to HR leadership and team members
- Help support employee engagement programs and company initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or related experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, ATS, or workforce management systems is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
