Role Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide day-to-day support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance. This individual will serve as a primary contact for employees while helping ensure HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for the Leadership Team.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, building and sustaining applicant pipelines, and offer extensions.
- Draft employment-related correspondence including onboarding packets and employment verifications.
- Handle new hire onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Prepare and digitally store employee records, HR documents, and personnel files with 100% accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to employee inquiries within 24 hours, resolving or escalating as needed.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain and update reports, organizational charts, and all workforce data on an ongoing basis.
- Utilize audits and tools to track tasks, monitor progress, and make recommendations according to industry standards and best practices.
- Assist with developing office and company policies, ensuring they are implemented appropriately after approval.
- Refine existing practices that improve efficiency and scalability.
- Document processes clearly using SOP’s/decks that support future team growth and onboarding.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of Human Resources, People Operations, Recruiting, or related administrative experience.
- Excellent organizational ability with attention to detail.
- Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and overall people-person.
- Vast working knowledge of digital tools (ex: Notion or similar, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe, HRIS) and ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Proactive in identifying problem areas and offering impactful solutions.
- Agile pivoting for tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of New York employment practices and labor regulations.
- Experience working within fashion, luxury, retail, hospitality, or other client-focused industries.
Compensation
$25-27 hourly compensation, based on experience; 20 hours weekly.
Location:
Monday-Friday, HYBRID in New York, NY, 10016.
