People & Culture (HR) Generalist
About the Role
OMS360 is looking for a People & Culture Generalist to join our growing team. This is a true generalist seat as you'll touch every stage of the employee life cycle, from onboarding new team members to supporting managers in the field with people-related decisions. If you love the variety of HR work such as one day auditing I-9s, the next coaching a manager through a tough feedback conversation then this role was built for you.
You'll partner closely with the People & Culture team on talent management, training and development, employee engagement, compensation, and employee relations, while serving as a trusted first point of contact for employees across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Administer and execute HR programs across compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, recognition, and training and development
- Own the accuracy and integrity of employee records, HRIS data, and life-cycle documentation - from offer letters to exit paperwork
- Serve as the go-to resource for employee questions about documentation, files, and employment paperwork, escalating sensitive matters when appropriate
- Manage new hire orientation and ensure onboarding documentation is complete; process employee changes including separations, leaves, and transitions
- Conduct or assist with compliance work: I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, VETS reporting, background checks, and eligibility verifications
- Track and document compliance with required trainings, licensure, and certifications
- Coach managers on feedback, employee relations, and building strong teams
- Support workplace investigations (harassment, discrimination, misconduct) in coordination with the HR Team
- Conduct exit interviews and administer employee recognition programs
- Stay current on employment law, HR trends, best practices, and keep our policies and SOPs up to date
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- 3+ years of HR experience preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Discretion and professionalism — you handle confidential matters with integrity
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn our HRIS and talent management systems
