The HR Associate will partner closely with the HR team and leaders across the company to support onboarding, recruiting, employee experience, benefits administration, compliance, payroll support, and office operations. This role offers broad exposure across multiple areas of Human Resources rather than a single specialty. The position provides hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, compliance, employee relations, and HR operations, creating a strong foundation across nearly every aspect of the employee lifecycle. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support for HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Maintain HR records, documentation, and systems while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including employee communications, paperwork, system access, and cross-functional support.
- Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, 401(k) activities, audits, reporting, and employee data management.
- Support compliance efforts, policy administration, recordkeeping, and adherence to employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring coordination.
- Serve as a resource for employee questions and direct inquiries to appropriate contacts.
- Coordinate office administration, workplace operations, vendor relationships, and employee technology onboarding/offboarding.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, company events, and culture-building activities.
- Prepare reports, track metrics, maintain data accuracy, and assist with HR projects and special assignments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- One or more years of experience supporting Human Resources, People Operations, Recruiting, or a related business function preferred.
- Associate degree required; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- aPHR or PHR certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
