This is a senior leadership role for someone who wants to shape how AI and machine learning are applied at scale across a high‑impact consumer platform. You will define strategy, influence product direction, and lead teams building production‑grade ML and generative AI solutions that directly affect millions of users.

The Role
- Lead and develop a team of data scientists embedded within product teams
- Set and own the ML and AI strategy, aligning technical direction with long‑term product and business goals
- Champion an AI‑first approach, identifying where traditional ML, generative AI, or hybrid solutions deliver the most value
- Oversee the full lifecycle of ML and AI systems, from experimentation to reliable production deployment
- Drive high standards in model evaluation, MLOps, and engineering best practices
- Make informed build‑versus‑buy decisions for models, platforms, and third‑party tools
- Act as a senior partner to product, engineering, and business stakeholders
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production
- Deep understanding of core ML concepts and modern AI techniques, including generative AI and large language models
- Experience leading or mentoring data science or ML teams in a product‑driven environment
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business impact
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and making decisions with imperfect information
- Solid knowledge of modern data stacks, MLOps, and scalable ML architectures
