This is a short-term salaried position, contracted via Aquent on behalf of our client as a third party, until end of September 2026. There is the possibility for extension. The role offers c. €100K per year (pro rata) – 40 hrs/week.
Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with unrestricted rights to work in The Netherlands will be considered.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the expansion of core Generative AI solutions to new markets, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Autonomously manage and improve AI systems by gathering and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
- Monitor the landscape of emerging AI models, systematically benchmarking them against established performance and latency metrics.
- Apply best practices in Generative AI to daily work, continuously optimizing our systems.
- Navigate cross-functional teams, translating high-level product requirements into technical execution.
- Document work thoroughly and communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Contribute to the strategic evolution of our AI capabilities, directly influencing our technological roadmap and business outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Min. 7 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, including strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
- Demonstrated experience in full-stack development and Generative AI.
- Expertise in deploying, scaling, and productionizing AI systems.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD for ML (MLOps).
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) and API development.
- Comfortable working within Agile frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- A high degree of autonomy and the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable technical plans.
