This is a short-term salaried position, contracted via Aquent on behalf of our client as a third party, until end of September 2026. There is the possibility for extension. The role offers c. €100K per year (pro rata) – 40 hrs/week.

Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with unrestricted rights to work in The Netherlands will be considered.

What You’ll Do

Lead the expansion of core Generative AI solutions to new markets, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Autonomously manage and improve AI systems by gathering and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
Monitor the landscape of emerging AI models, systematically benchmarking them against established performance and latency metrics.
Apply best practices in Generative AI to daily work, continuously optimizing our systems.
Navigate cross-functional teams, translating high-level product requirements into technical execution.
Document work thoroughly and communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Contribute to the strategic evolution of our AI capabilities, directly influencing our technological roadmap and business outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Min. 7 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
Advanced proficiency in Python, including strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
Demonstrated experience in full-stack development and Generative AI.
Expertise in deploying, scaling, and productionizing AI systems.
Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD for ML (MLOps).
Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) and API development.
Comfortable working within Agile frameworks.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
A high degree of autonomy and the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable technical plans.
