Financial Analyst

About the Role
For a global leader in nutrition and FMCG, we are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Supply Chain Finance team on an interim basis.
The role focuses on demand & production volume analysis, logistics cost control, and inventory performance, with exposure to forecasting, month‑end close, and cross‑functional stakeholder management.
You'll work closely with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Factory Controlling teams in a fast‑paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Volume & Forecast Support
- Analyse demand and production volumes and support alignment during forecast cycles
- Perform actuals vs forecast analysis as part of month‑end close
- Coordinate with planners and factories to validate volume assumptions
Logistics Costs & Inventory
- Support monthly logistics cost analysis and variance explanations
- Monitor inventory performance, key movements, and risks versus targets
- Translate insights into clear PowerPoint updates for finance and supply chain stakeholders
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a finance sparring partner for Supply Chain, Demand, and Factory teams
- Support forecasts, R&O cycles, and ad‑hoc financial analyses
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years' experience in cost accounting, supply chain, or logistics finance
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills; comfortable working with data
- Experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to communicate financial insights clearly
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic environment
