Job Description
As a Junior Financial Analyst you will support inventory management, logistics cost analysis, demand and production reporting, and assist in preparing costs for upcoming strategic plans. The position requires close collaboration with supply chain, demand planning, and factory control teams, particularly during month-end closing cycles, to ensure accurate reporting and variance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage demand and production volume analysis by performing detailed evaluations and coordinating monthly alignment meetings with the Demand team.
- Analyze production volumes, ensuring alignment with official forecast cycles issued quarterly.
- Prepare presentation materials for supply chain and finance forums, clearly communicating assumptions, discrepancies, and key data movements.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination to agree on final volume figures for official forecasts and follow up with factories to validate submitted data.
- Conduct monthly analysis of actual volumes versus forecasts as part of the month-end closing procedures.
- Perform monthly logistics cost analysis, reviewing factory close results and identifying variances and key drivers.
- Consolidate forecast inputs from various departments, ensuring consistency and accuracy before submission.
- Analyze inventory performance monthly, identifying risks, movements, and performance against targets.
- Prepare structured reports and presentations for management review, sharing insights with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of cost accounting experience, preferably within a logistics environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- Familiarity with Power BI, including report reading and data extrapolation in Excel.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and technical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex data clearly.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a flexible manner.
- Resilient, proactive, and capable of anticipating business needs.
