The Dutch subsidiary is established in 2018 and located in Amsterdam. For our Financial Department we are looking for an:
Junior Accountant
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounting and reconciliation of accounts (Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash management, Fixed assets);
- Shop revenue check and other various store related checks
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing bi-monthly internal financial reports to the group, Local Statutory accounts (local GAAP) and Group reporting package (IFRS), financial cash flow reporting and planning.
- You are the point of contact in communication with suppliers and other business partners
- Participation in the audit & contact with external auditors
PROFILE
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
EXPERIENCE: 1 – 3 years’ experience in accounting
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP (IFRS knowledge would be beneficial)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and organized
- Flexible and capable to work with tight reporting deadlines
- Previous retail experience and knowledge of SAP would be beneficial but not essential
- Proficient in English and preferably Dutch
