P Finance (FP&A & Treasury) – Amsterdam
We are supporting a dynamic, investor-backed company scaling rapidly across Europe, looking to appoint a VP Finance (FP&A & Treasury) to strengthen its financial infrastructure and support the next phase of growth.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will be instrumental in building a best-in-class finance function, enabling data-driven decision-making, and ensuring the business is well-positioned from a funding, liquidity, and performance perspective.
This is a broad and visible role offering significant exposure to senior leadership, investors, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the group-wide financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts
- Drive performance management by delivering clear insights, variance analysis, and forward-looking recommendations
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships
- Lead financing and refinancing processes, managing lenders and supporting capital structure optimisation
- Own management, board, and lender reporting, ensuring high-quality outputs and clear storytelling
- Partner with commercial, operational, and functional leaders to improve working capital and overall financial efficiency
- Play a key role in strategic initiatives, including M&A, integration, and transformation projects
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing FP&A and Treasury team
Candidate Profile:
- Strong background in FP&A, treasury, or broader strategic finance roles
- Experience in private equity-backed, leveraged, or high-growth environments preferred
- Deep understanding of financial planning, liquidity management, and capital allocation
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and investors
- Proven ability to lead change, implement processes, and operate effectively in a scaling business
- Collaborative, low-ego individual with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
