To support our colleagues and maintain a seamless IT environment, we are looking for an IT Technical Support Specialist who will serve as the local IT anchor for our Amersfoort office.
This is not a remote helpdesk role. It is a hands-on, on-site position where you become the trusted partner for employees who rely on stable systems, responsive support, and reliable technology to do their work.
You will ensure that devices function, systems connect, and users receive the support they need — quickly, professionally, and securely.
Your impact
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for IT support in Amersfoort, ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the local IT environment.
You will support colleagues across the office by resolving technical issues, installing and maintaining equipment, and coordinating with regional and global IT teams when needed.
By combining strong troubleshooting skills with excellent service orientation, you help create a workplace where technology supports productivity rather than slowing it down.

What you will do
As the local IT specialist in Amersfoort, your work combines operational support with proactive system management.
End-user support
- Provide first- and second-line technical support to employees (on-site and remote)
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Act as the local IT representative for the office
Hardware & workplace technology
- Install, configure, and maintain:
- desktops and laptops
- mobile devices
- printers and peripherals
- meeting room equipment
- Perform hardware troubleshooting, replacement, and configuration
Software & systems
- Support Windows operating systems and standard workplace applications
- Assist with Microsoft 365 environments and collaboration tools
- Manage user accounts and permissions (Active Directory / M365)
Network & connectivity
- Diagnose issues related to:
- LAN / WAN connectivity
- Wi-Fi access
- VPN connections
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP environments
Incident management
- Log, track, and manage incidents through the IT ticketing system
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and support process improvements
- Escalate complex incidents to central IT teams or external vendors
IT operations & lifecycle support
- Support IT onboarding and offboarding for employees
- Maintain IT asset records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards
Projects & improvements
- Support local IT rollouts, upgrades, and improvement initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvements in the digital workplace environment

- Desktop and laptop support
- Microsoft Windows environments

- TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP diagnostics
- Endpoint security and patch management
