Job Title: Head of Talent Acquisition
Position Summary
Seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Talent Acquisition to lead all aspects of recruiting across the organization. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and executive leadership to understand business needs, develop effective hiring strategies, and drive the full recruitment lifecycle across corporate, creative, merchandising, production, operations, sales, finance, HR, and other functional teams.
The ideal candidate is an experienced talent acquisition professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at identifying top talent, and can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary recruiting partner to hiring managers and leadership, developing a deep understanding of hiring needs, organizational goals, and team structures.
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing strategy, candidate evaluation, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding support.
- Develop tailored recruitment strategies for a wide range of positions, from entry-level through executive leadership.
- Draft and refine compelling, market-competitive job descriptions that accurately reflect business needs and attract top talent.
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, industry associations, and other recruiting channels.
- Manage all job postings across internal and external platforms, ensuring consistent employer branding and optimized candidate reach.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and frequently hired positions.
- Partner with external recruiting agencies, establishing search priorities, managing communication, evaluating candidate quality, and ensuring exceptional hiring experience.
- Advise hiring managers on market trends, compensation benchmarks, candidate availability, and competitive hiring practices.
- Coordinate and improve interview processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and a positive candidate experience.
- Track recruiting metrics, hiring progress, time-to-fill, and pipeline health while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Help strengthen the employer’s brand and recruiting presence across digital platforms and industry networks.
- Ensure recruiting processes are compliant with applicable employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience, including experience leading full-cycle recruiting across multiple functional areas.
- Experience recruiting within apparel, fashion, consumer products, licensing, retail, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to recruit across a broad range of disciplines, including creative, merchandising, design, sourcing, production, operations, supply chain, finance, HR, sales, and corporate functions.
- Strong expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify and engage passive talent.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and hiring plans.
- Demonstrated success managing relationships with external search firms and recruiting agencies.
- Excellent interviewing, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional project management abilities and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging recruiting metrics to improve hiring outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Salary $125,000-$175,000
