The Director of People Operations is responsible for developing and leading Springbone's overall people strategy, learning and development programs, leadership trainings, workforce planning initiatives, compliance framework, and organizational development efforts across all locations. This role serves as a strategic business partner to executive leadership and is responsible for aligning people practices with company objectives, culture, growth plans, and operational performance.
The Director of People Operations oversees all aspects of human resources and people operations, including oversight of the larger people ops team, employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, leadership and managerial training and development, compensation and benefits strategy, workforce analytics, and organizational effectiveness. This position provides leadership to the People Operations function while ensuring scalable systems, legal compliance, and a positive employee experience throughout the organization.

What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing HR or People Operations teams
- Experience developing strategic leadership programs and L&D programs
- Experience developing people strategies and organizational initiatives at a company-wide level
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, and workforce management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, retail, or service-based organizations
