As a Senior Technician IT Service Desk you act as the primary point of contact between Prothya's end-users and the IT department. In your role you provide comprehensive IT support, manage incidents, and collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure efficient and improved service delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Support:
- Offer comprehensive IT assistance to employees, addressing complex software, hardware, and network issues
- Resolve advanced technical problems efficiently at the first point of contact with end-users
- Guide and assist end-users in maximizing the use of IT products and services
- Provide support and training for Office 365 technology and other workplace productivity tools
- Lead the installation and configuration of computers and mobile devices, ensuring they are optimized for end-user needs
- Oversee the allocation and management of IT resources, ensuring employees have the necessary tools for their roles
Incident Management:
- Log and track IT-related incidents in the Case Management System, ensuring accurate documentation
Escalation Management:
- Manage complex service desk issues and escalate to third -line support or relevant suppliers when necessary
Procedure Development:
- Develop and implement service desk procedures
Collaboration:
- Provide guidance and support to the service desk team
- Collaborate closely with system engineers and architects to resolve incidents and improve services
Your profile:
- MBO minimal level 4 in general IT, IT infrastructure or related field
- > 3 years of IT experience in supporting roles, such as Service Desk or Workplace support
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
- Windows 10 and 11, and Office 365
- Strong communicative skills, problem solving capabilities, customer oriented
- Emphatic, enthusiastic and excellent team player
- Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English
- Ability to work on-site daily during office hours and regular on call service outside office hours

- A salary between €3.799,75 and €5.462,24 gross per month based on fulltime employment
