Are you an experienced IT Manager looking for an opportunity to lead technology operations within a growing, international business?
We are seeking a hands on and commercially minded IT Manager to take ownership of technology delivery across the Netherlands. Based in central Amsterdam, you will lead a small team of 3 and support approximately 550 users across offices in Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Manager who enjoys balancing operational technology leadership with business partnering, supplier management and continuous improvement. You will work closely with senior leaders across the business, helping ensure technology supports operational efficiency, collaboration and future growth.
The Role
As IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day delivery and development of IT services across the Netherlands business. You will work in a full Microsoft Azure cloud environment and partner with Group IT to maintain secure, reliable and scalable technology services.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, support and develop a team of 3 IT professionals
- Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, end user technology and business applications
- Support approximately 550 users across Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam
- Manage third party IT suppliers, technology partners and service providers
- Ensure local technology services align with Group IT standards, security policies and governance
- Drive improvements across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration tools and user experience
- Work with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into practical technology solutions
- Support technology projects, system enhancements and regional change initiatives
- Contribute to information security, data governance, compliance and technology risk management
- Travel occasionally to offices in Eindhoven, Rotterdam and other locations where required
Business Systems and Transformation
The business has recently deployed a global HRIS and is continuing to integrate this with the existing Netherlands ERP and payroll landscape.
You will support ongoing work across ERP, HRIS, payroll, web and digital systems, working closely with Group IT and senior stakeholders. An ERP transformation programme is anticipated within the next 12 to 24 months, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to future systems integration and technology change.
Previous exposure to ERP, HRIS, payroll, web or digital platforms would be beneficial, but this is not essential. The priority is finding a strong IT Manager who can lead operational delivery, build trusted stakeholder relationships and support the business through continued growth.
About You
You will ideally bring:
- Experience as an IT Manager, ICT Manager, Head of IT, IT Operations Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong experience within a Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud environment
- Experience leading, mentoring or managing a small technical team
- A hands on understanding of IT infrastructure, end user technology, security and business applications
- Experience working in a multi site, international or fast paced commercial environment
- Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non technical colleagues
- Exposure to ERP, HRIS, payroll or business systems would be advantageous
- Professional fluency in Dutch and English
