POSITION TITLE: Senior Recruiter/ Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Senior Recruiter / HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position builds partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization including organizational development, succession planning and full-cycle recruitment and on-boarding for all corporate positions ensuring a positive experience. The Recruiter/ HRBP maintains a general understanding about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Partners with management to identify hiring needs, job specifications, skills and qualifications. Reviews and edits job descriptions, communicates recruitment strategy and expectations and provides regular updates.
- Owns and drives Recruiting process and hiring results in partnership with hiring managers. Utilizes online recruiting tools to source potential candidates.
- Reviews resumes and screens candidates to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements. Schedules interviews with hiring managers and coordinates travel arrangements. Organizes leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback with management.
- Represents the company at career fairs and networking events. Develops and maintains network of internal/external contacts, contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other organizations to attract top talent and build talent pipelines for key positions.
- Performs background checks, reference checks and employment verifications. Negotiates job offers and writes offer letters. Trains new hiring managers on Applicant Tracking System and hiring process
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development). Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
*This position is required to be on-site 5 days a week in our LA Office
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 8+ Years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) 8 + years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in human resources, preferably in Fashion or consumer brand.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of recruiting and HR software; Excel and Word Processing software.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executives, groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to take initiative while demonstrating sound judgment and discretion. A commitment to customer service and organizational values.
- Experience with Linkedin Recruiter a plus.
- Prior agency experience a plus. I
