Senior Lead – Sponsorships (Interim, 6 months)

We’re hiring for a Senior Sponsorships Lead to join a high-performing global marketing team, delivering world-class partnerships across major international sports properties.
This role sits at the heart of a global sponsorship portfolio, working across flagship partnerships in football and US sports, driving high-impact activations with leading rights holders.
The role:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of major sponsorship programmes, from strategy through to execution and evaluation
- Own key workstreams across high-profile global partnerships (including elite football and US sports organisations)
- Translate brand and commercial objectives into clear activation plans, KPIs and budgets
- Partner cross-functionally across brand, media, creative, growth and strategy teams
- Manage and influence external agencies, rights holders and vendors to deliver best-in-class activations
- Operate hands-on in high-profile campaigns, events and global activations, ensuring flawless execution
- Track performance and optimise programmes based on data-driven insights
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years’ experience delivering large-scale sports sponsorship programmes within a global brand or agency environment
- Strong background across football and/or US sports (e.g. baseball), with exposure to major rights holders (UEFA, MLB highly desirable)
- Proven experience managing agencies and complex partner ecosystems
- Track record of delivering large, multi-market sponsorship activations
- Commercially sharp, highly organised and comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence at senior level
- Experience across social, content-led activations and integrated campaigns
