MacGregor Black are partnering with a growing consumer brand on the search for a Regional Marketing Manager EMEA. This role is based in Amsterdam, with travel required approximately bi-weekly for customer visits and internal meetings.
Regional Marketing Manager – Drive regional demand and brand growth across owned channels and key retail partners through a highly targeted, insight-driven digital marketing strategy, with a strong focus on performance media, which represents the majority of the marketing budget. This is not a traditional mass-marketing role — success comes from executing precision campaigns that reach top target consumers at the right moment in their journey, delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
Operating at the intersection of performance, trade, and brand execution, this role owns regional marketing performance with a particular focus on media ROI, including revenue contribution, ROAS, and investment efficiency. Partnering closely with the Global & EMEA Brand Director and Sr Digital Marketing Director, you will translate global strategy into locally relevant, high-performing digital activations — reporting operationally to the Head of Region to ensure strong commercial alignment and retail impact. You will collaborate closely with global brand, media, creative, e-commerce, and regional sales teams to ensure precision targeting, media efficiency, flawless execution, and consistent brand delivery across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead regional activation of global brand campaigns with a strong focus on precision targeting, optimisation, and commercial impact — ensuring the right consumers are reached at the right moments.
- Partner closely with the Global & EMEA Brand Director and global media teams to translate brand and media strategy into high-performing, regionally relevant and brand-consistent execution.
- Drive demand across owned channels, retail platforms, and eCommerce ecosystems, prioritising conversion, efficiency, and measurable business growth over broad reach.
- Own and optimise media performance tracking across campaigns, using data-driven insights to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI.
- Plan and deliver joint trade marketing programmes with priority retail partners, aligned to consumer insights, category priorities, and commercial objectives, ensuring strong in-store execution and promotional impact.
- Collaborate closely with eCommerce, retail, and account teams to execute high-impact digital, in-store, and omnichannel activations that elevate brand presence and drive sales performance.
- Drive best-in-class eCommerce and retailer platform performance by improving product visibility, content quality, SEO readiness, and conversion, while identifying and activating new opportunities to grow traffic, engagement, and sell-through.
- Lead influencer, partnership, and seeding initiatives to reach priority consumer segments and accelerate key brand and commercial moments.
- Own the brand's presence at priority consumer and trade events, ensuring all experiences are insight-led, brand-consistent, and commercially effective.
- Lead rollout and optimisation of branded fixtures, POS materials, and in-store environments to ensure premium, high-performing retail execution across markets.
- Ensure consumer-centric messaging, content, and creative assets are consistently developed, adapted, and deployed across all touchpoints.
- Establish and own clear accountability for regional website execution, ensuring content, messaging, UX, and brand expression are continuously optimised and aligned to global standards.
- Provide actionable regional insights to global brand and product teams to inform future strategy, innovation, and activation planning.
- Plan and deliver market-relevant trade marketing campaigns in collaboration with account managers and retail partners, ensuring promotional calendars, launches, and activations are executed on time, on brand, and aligned with partner requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years' experience in brand marketing, ideally within premium consumer goods brands or global organisations.
- Proven track record of building and stewarding premium brands across multiple markets, ideally across multiple consumer goods categories.
- Demonstrated success in delivering impactful marketing projects and campaigns.
- Very strong project management skills — ability to balance priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders with care and clarity.
- Confident in using data, insights, and measurement to inform targeting, optimise campaigns, and deliver tangible commercial impact.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills in English; ability to create engagement and influence across all levels.
- Strategic and hands-on marketer with experience delivering highly targeted, performance-driven campaigns across paid, owned, and retail channels.
- Strong ability to translate consumer insights into precision marketing execution, rather than broad-based mass campaigns.
- Proven experience partnering closely with sales teams and retail partners to drive demand and commercial outcomes.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration across global brand, media, creative, and regional teams.
- Experience in trade marketing, retail activation, and performance marketing preferred.
- Experience managing events and in-store fixture projects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the Nordics and Benelux retail and e-commerce landscape, ideally within premium or branded goods.
- Commercially minded, data-driven, proactive, and execution-focused.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, based in Amsterdam with ability to travel approximately once every other week.
