For an international technology company in the smart home and security segment, we are looking for a Channel Marketing Manager DACH. In this role, you will support the client’s business across the DACH region within a retail environment where both in-store and online experiences are critical. You will be responsible for the full life cycle of strategic channel marketing programs, from identifying new opportunities through to design, execution, measurement, and evaluation against defined business goals. The position focuses on building long-term, mutually successful marketing plans with retail partners and managing the retail experience from product, category, training, visual, and brand development perspectives. You will work closely with sales teams, external agencies, and key retailer contacts to ensure consistent, high-standard execution.
What You Will Do?
• Manage all trade marketing activities in the DACH region
• Own the retail experience from a product, category, training, visual merchandising, and brand development perspective across online and in-store environments.
• Lead strategic account planning from a retail marketing perspective, building programs that drive consideration, conversion, and education in close cooperation with the sales team.
• Develop rolling annual and quarterly joint business plans with key retail partners, aligned with European and local priorities and within defined budgets and timelines.
• Work closely with the local sales force to ensure best-in-class execution of marketing programs both online and in-store, meeting agreed sales-out results.
• Provide local channel strategy and detailed promotional planning to support growth targets and align with overall business objectives in the region.
• Manage external agencies, including field team operations, merchandising partners, and creative agencies, ensuring effective execution and consistent standards.
• Lead efforts to evaluate the effectiveness and profitability of channel marketing programs, tracking results and delivering actionable insights from data.
• Support go-to-market product initiatives such as launches, product changes, and transitions through execution of marketing activities at retail.
• Develop and sustain strong partner relationships with key retailer contacts, vendors, and third-party agencies while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
• Organize and coordinate participation in key retailer events, ensuring the brand is represented consistently and in line with brand strategy and guidelines.
Your Skills
• Multiple years of experience building and managing retail marketing programs, preferably within a multinational, complex organization and fast-changing business environment.
• Strong ability to clearly communicate and influence stakeholders inside and outside the immediate team, including sales, marketing, and retail partners.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization, managing multiple priorities as an independent, driven self-starter.
• In-depth understanding of the relevant retail landscape, including experience working with key DACH retailers and other offline channel partners.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing customer relationships and supporting team members in achieving shared goals and resolving challenges.
• High attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously in a structured and organized way.
• Strong project management skills, being detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable overseeing several initiatives at different stages.
• Proficiency in English and German languages, enabling effective communication across regional and international stakeholders.
