EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by our client, a Top 50 professional services firm, who is seeking a dynamic and resourceful HR Business Partner to join their growing People & Culture team. This role is pivotal in supporting Midwest offices and contributing to national HR initiatives, blending strategic insight with hands-on execution across core HR functions. This position requires three days per week in office, with regular travel to offices throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Support performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and PIPs
- Manage investigations and employee separations with discretion and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
- Support onboarding, orientation, and new hire integration and retention strategies
- Partner with leadership and resource management to identify hiring needs; support campus recruiting events as needed
- Maintain accurate HRIS records (Workday preferred) and generate reporting and data insights
- Support inclusion, engagement, and culture initiatives firm-wide
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify training needs
- Partner cross-functionally with recruiting, total rewards, resource management, and L&D teams
- Support organizational change and workforce planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably in professional services or an accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in HCM systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
