We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Sales Procurement leader to join our HEINEKEN Global Procurement Function. In this role you will be a strategic advisor to define Procurement strategy and deliver Marketing & Sales cost reductions & revenue growth.
You will be part of the Leadership Team of Global Indirect Procurement Team, reporting into the Global Head of Indirect Procurement.
Your responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and CX leadership to understand business strategies, consumer engagement and operational objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Commerce, aligning cost-reduction initiatives with commerce objectives without compromising business growth.
- Provide market insights on procurement trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier innovation in commercial services, materials and tools.
- In partnership with Commerce, use data analytics to monitor commercial spend, increase the ROI of investments and eliminate waste.
- Cost Reduction & Optimization:
- Benchmark commercial costs against industry standards to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions.
- Identify and evaluate areas of potential cost reduction within commerce-related operations, including marketing campaigns, advertising, customer experience platforms, and sales support tools − Lead procurement projects aimed at optimizing commercial expenditures while maintaining or enhancing business outcomes.
- Sourcing Excellence & Supplier Management:
- Lead team to source, negotiate, and manage vendors for commercial materials and services, ensuring value for money and adherence to corporate policies.
- Oversee the execution of RFPs, vendor evaluation processes, and contract negotiations tailored to Global Procurement Marketing & Sales needs.
- Foster relationships with suppliers to drive innovation, efficiency, and improved service delivery.
- Change Management & Communication
- Drive change management initiatives to implement cost-saving and waste elimination measures across our Marketing & Sales teams.
- Communicate procurement-driven value, efficiency & effectiveness strategies to commercial stakeholders, fostering buy-in and support.
- Provide training to Procurement Marketing & Sales teams on procurement best practices and budget optimization strategies.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Marketing, or Business Administration; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years in a Procurement role, proven track record of successful implementation of cost-reduction initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Marketing & Sales Procurement Media, ATL, BTL, POSM, sponsorships, etc.
- Experience in Consulting preferred
- Procurement Strategy: proven experience in defining sourcing strategy in collaboration with functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment to business objectives
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities: communication, change management, strategic alignment
- Strong implementation experience: proven track record of successful delivery of Marketing & Sales cost reduction initiatives in a complex environment
