The Role – Senior Global Brand Manager
We are looking for a Senior Global Brand Manager to grow Stokke globally, ensuring the brand appears consistently and effectively across markets, categories, and touchpoints. This is not a traditional marketing role — success comes from a highly targeted, insight-driven approach, delivering campaigns that engage consumers at the right moment, rather than broad-based mass marketing.
In this role, you will drive the execution and protection of Stokke’s brand globally, working closely with the Global & EMEA Brand Director to safeguard brand consistency. You will guide the go-to-market of Stokke’s product portfolio in close partnership with creative, product, media, and regional marketing teams. You will lead global Stokke Brand campaigns from start to finish, overseeing creative briefing, concept development, execution, and cross-market coordination, with a strong focus on precision, optimisation, and commercial impact.
This role requires a strategic, analytical, and hands-on leader who thrives on precision marketing and understands that Stokke’s products are bought by consumers with a clear and specific need. You will inspire regional markets and agencies to deliver focused, high-impact campaigns that connect with the right consumers at the right moment in their journey. The role is based in Amsterdam and reports to the Global & EMEA Brand Director.
Main Responsibilities
- Global Brand Stewardship: Maintain and evolve Stokke’s global brand framework, including visual identity, tone of voice, brand codes, and storytelling principles. Ensure consistent, premium brand expression across all markets, channels, and consumer touchpoints. Act as the guardian of the brand, enabling markets to execute with confidence while adapting to local nuances.
- Precision Marketing & Global Campaign Leadership: Lead the development and execution of big bet global campaigns, from strategic brief to creative delivery and market rollout. Translate consumer insights into highly targeted campaigns, designed to reach the right audience at the right moment. Partner with creative agencies, media teams, product, and regional marketing to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns. Balance global coherence with local relevance, ensuring markets can activate campaigns effectively while maintaining focus on precision and performance.
- Brand Planning Strategy: Help shape Stokke’s long-term global brand direction, turning market and consumer insights into focused campaigns that drive real business impact. You will work closely with the digital team, and regional markets to connect brand strategy with media planning, ensuring campaigns reach the right consumers at the right time. Alongside this, you will co-own the development of marketing content calendars, bringing together product priorities, key stories, and seasonal moments into a clear and well-structured plan.
- Cross-Functional & Market Collaboration: Work closely with regional marketing teams to guide and support local execution of global campaigns, ensuring precision and quality. Collaborate with product, design, innovation, and sustainability teams to align brand and product storytelling. Build strong relationships with agencies and internal stakeholders to drive seamless, high-impact campaign execution globally.
The Ideal Profile
- 10+ years’ experience in brand marketing, ideally within premium consumer goods, design-led brands, or global organisations.
- Proven track record of building and stewarding premium brands across multiple markets, ideally in categories driven by clear consumer needs or time-sensitive purchase moments.
- Demonstrated success in delivering impactful marketing projects and campaigns.
- Very strong project management skills - ability to balance priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders with care and clarity.
- Solid understanding of both local and global marketing and commercial dynamics, preferably across both European and US markets.
- Experienced in managing global agencies, complex cross-functional projects, and external partner relationships.
- Confident in using data, insights, and measurement to inform targeting, optimise campaigns, and deliver tangible commercial impact.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills in English; ability to create engagement and influence across all levels.
- Strong business understanding and strategic mindset — able to see the big picture while also rolling up sleeves for brilliant execution.
- Eager to work in a fast-paced scaleup environment, bringing clarity and cohesion across diverse teams.
- Data-driven decision maker and storyteller, using insights to identify process improvements, make informed decisions, and align stakeholders.
- We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in the Amsterdam office on average 3 days a week. More is fine too!
