Role Overview
Jefferies is looking to hire an Analyst to join its Agriculture & Ingredients Investment Banking team in Amsterdam.
As a sector driven bank, Jefferies established its Global Agriculture & Ingredients sector team within the Investment Banking division in early 2022. Based in Amsterdam, the team has a global mandate across investment banking products and covers a range of sector verticals including animal sciences & production, plant sciences & production and ingredients. The team seamlessly works together with Jefferies' country and product specialist teams globally on leading origination and execution efforts.
The successful candidate will play a key supporting role in both transaction execution and client relationship management, working closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives across the Global Agriculture & Ingredients sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of M&A, debt, and equity transactions
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, trading comps, precedent transactions)
- Prepare client materials, including pitch books, presentations, and marketing documents
- Conduct detailed industry, company, and financial analysis across the Industrials sector
- Assist in managing due diligence processes and working with clients and external advisors
- Monitor market activity and maintain sector knowledge and deal pipeline tracking
Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years’ experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Transaction Advisory
- Strong technical skillset including financial modelling and valuation
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- International background / global mindset with fluency in English required
