A fast-growing healthcare and pharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and scale the HR function across a highly regulated operational environment. This company specializes in compounding pharmacy and healthcare services, supporting clinical, operational, and quality-driven teams in a fast-paced setting.
The ideal candidate is a strategic HR leader who can operate both at the executive level and in day-to-day HR operations. This role will partner closely with leadership to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and execute HR strategy aligned with company growth and operational goals
- Oversee talent acquisition for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, sterile compounding teams, and corporate staff
- Drive employee relations, performance management, and leadership development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and regulatory standards
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational design
- Manage compensation structures, benefits administration, HR operations, and vendor relationships
- Lead and mentor the HR team across recruiting, benefits, and HR management functions
- Champion culture, engagement, retention, and internal communication strategies
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Background in healthcare, pharmacy, biotech, or another highly regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Experience supporting licensed professionals and operational teams
- Proven ability to build HR infrastructure in a growing organization
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree
- Experience within sterile compounding or pharmacy environments
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications
- Familiarity with FDA guidance, USP standards, and pharmacy board regulations
