Role Description
OGV is seeking a highly motivated Summer Analyst to join our Amsterdam office. The role offers hands-on exposure to the full investment process, including sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring domestic and cross-border investments.
As part of a lean and entrepreneurial team, the Summer Analyst will work directly with senior investment professionals and gain meaningful responsibility from day one. Responsibilities may include market research, financial analysis, valuation work, due diligence support, preparation of investment materials, and portfolio company analysis.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in investing, and business strategy
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and company analysis
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior internship experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, transaction services, or corporate finance is preferred but not required
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Fluency in English required; Dutch and Scandinavian language skills are a plus
