The Team
At BYD Europe BV (Hoofddorp), you'll join our stable finance team fully composed of Chinese colleagues, consisting of young talents and experienced finance professionals. We focus on new energy EV business covering passenger cars, electric buses and forklifts across Benelux. As a fast-growing new energy brand in Europe, we face rich business challenges and aim to expand local market share with zero-emission transport solutions.
We act fast to respond to sales business demands, data changes and local financial rules, and continuously optimize our internal financial workflow and reporting system. All team members cooperate closely to support sales target delivery, control business risks and realize sustainable business growth in the Netherlands and wider Europe.
About the role
We are seeking a Finance-Business Support Specialist focusing on rebate settlement and sales performance analysis. This role reports directly to the Head of Finance, belonging to commercial finance function, which is separate from our full-cycle Financial Accountant position. You will take charge of all rebate checking, business policy evaluation, sales data reporting and cross-department coordination, providing full financial business support for local sales & operation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Rebate Settlement & Business Policy Control (40%)
- Review monthly & quarterly rebate settlement documents to guarantee accurate, on-time rebate execution
- Evaluate the rationality and implementability of all sales business policies, push standardized timely release of official policies
- Sort out rebate calculation logic, check calculation differences and clear abnormal settlement items
Sales Reporting & Data Analysis (40%)
- Prepare standardized rebate statements, aggregate sales data and submit consolidated management reports to support business decision-making
- Design and build automatic reporting templates to track monthly sales volume, profit and target completion status
- Dig into full sales business processes, convert raw data into clear, actionable operational insights
- Deliver regular monthly/quarterly analysis and ad-hoc custom analysis for strategic and daily operational needs
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Data Alignment (20%)
- Work closely with sales and operation teams to unify data statistical standards
- Follow up data discrepancies, adjust report logic and ensure all data and reports are consistent, accurate and delivered on schedule
- Support internal financial process optimization and test new finance tools
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
- HBO/MBO Bachelor or above degree in Finance, Accounting, International Economics and Trade or related majors
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in financial reporting, settlement review or business finance support
- Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin Chinese is a big plus for seamless internal team communication
- Solid understanding of complete corporate financial workflows and internal control standards
- Advanced skills of MS Office suite, especially Excel financial functions and data processing
- Strong attention to detail, outstanding time management and multi-task handling ability
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of explaining data insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders
- Able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple parallel tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous working experience in automotive or new energy industry
- Familiar with sales rebate calculation logic and channel business models
- Mastery of Power BI, Python or other data analysis tools
- Experience delivering regular management business analysis reports
- Cross-department coordination experience with sales teams
