About the role
This role supports Commercial Finance, FP&A and Supply Services across covered distributor markets. The role provides practical finance support to connect distributor market management, commercial performance, planning and forecasting, management reporting, supply services finance and financial control into one joined-up view of market performance.
The role partners with Commercial, FP&A, Supply, Accounting and regional management teams to support decisions on revenue, trade investment, profitability, supply-related performance, inventory, working capital and operating costs.
Your responsibilities
Provide financial analysis for backward looking local reporting and forward-looking forecasting enabling informed planning and decision making, alongside Commercial and Supply Finance support for the covered distributor markets
FP&A, planning and performance management
- Drive reporting process to deliver Region/Cluster/Country P&L and NWC KPIs
- Drive Targe Setting, Planning and Forecasting Process in the Region, coordinating work across various functions, leveraging Integrated Business Planning, leveraging Commercial and Supply Finance teams as necessary
- E2E Accountability for Commercial Fixed cost across Region (record-report-analyse-influence-forecast)
Sales Finance
- Business Partnering for commercial teams requiring exceptional business acumen and financial knowledge
- Ownership and full understanding of all dimensions of the P&L
- Sales promotions approval, evaluation and review; challenging KAMs to attach evidence and verification of documentation,
- Regular Trade Spend accruals reviews
- Preparation of reports, presentations and analysis designed to communicate selected financial data to the stakeholders.
- Support and challenge commercial teams in analysis, recommendations and implementations of business decisions related to sales, with focus on Trade Investment
- Play key role in driving actions for enhancing margins, lead projects and be responsible for full delivery of the results
- Lead Financial dimensions of Planning / Forecasting process for Sales
Supply Finance
Monitor and track Supply cost to ensure alignment with financial targets and objectives.
- Assist in leading Forecasts & Plan, Planning process for Supply cost for the region
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records related to Supply cost
- Identify cost and efficiency opportunities within Supply Services
Cross-functional finance support
- Work closely with Commercial, FP&A, Supply Services, Accounting and regional management teams to understand performance drivers, operational challenges and financial implications across the hub scope.
- Provide financial support and analysis for cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring commercial and supply services considerations are reflected in recommendations.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor / Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. Pursuing or completed professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance.
- Strong commercial finance mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions, influence distributor market decisions and connect commercial performance with supply-related drivers.
- Experience in financial reporting, management reporting, planning and forecasting, with distributor market experience preferred.
- Proactive and results-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage and influence stakeholders across Commercial, FP&A, Supply, Accounting and regional teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability and attitude to work with financial systems.
- Customer-centric mindset with empathy to understand and interpret stakeholder needs.
- Collaborative with peers and colleagues to drive involvement and engagement; experience of working in a complex matrix organization with a global scope preferred.
