The role
This position sits at the intersection of finance and the business, with a strong focus on financial analysis, reporting, and performance management. You will act as a key partner to operational stakeholders while contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes and tools.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a finance partner to local teams, supporting business cases and ad-hoc analysis
- Contribute to month-end closing activities, including preparation of reports and reconciliation with group systems
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring structure, accuracy, and timely delivery
- Perform in-depth financial analyses to support revenue growth and cost optimisation initiatives
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, including revenue streams and operational efficiency
- Support the development and improvement of reporting tools, dashboards, and financial processes
- Work with multiple data sources to produce clear and actionable insights for the business
- Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams across different regions
- Contribute to system implementations and ongoing optimisation of financial planning tools
- Provide support on strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects when required
Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, business control, or a similar analytical finance role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into business insights
- Comfortable working with ERP and financial planning tools, as well as advanced Excel
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) or ERP systems (e.g. AFAS) is a plus
- Detail-oriented, structured, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus
