For an international technology-driven organisation based in the Utrecht region, we are looking for a Financial Accountant to strengthen the local finance team.
You will play a key role in managing the accounting of the Dutch entities, supporting audits and contributing to process improvements within a growing international environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and annual closings
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Support statutory audits
- Submit VAT, Intrastat and other regulatory reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse cash flow and support management reporting
- Contribute to process optimisation initiatives
- Support accounts payable activities
Profile
- HBO degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- 3–5 years of relevant experience (audit background is a strong plus)
- Good knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Comfortable working in an international environment
