We’re hiring a Client Relationship Manager to own and grow a portfolio of strategic customers and lead a team of account managers.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial growth, long-term relationships and ecosystem development. You’ll work with existing clients to deepen adoption, expand accounts, and unlock new opportunities; both within organisations and across their networks.
You’ll be expected to act as a trusted partner, not a reactive account manager. Success in this role comes from understanding client priorities, spotting expansion signals early, and connecting Dealroom’s platform to real strategic outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Grow and expand strategic accounts
- Work with a team of account managers and help Dealroom grow Net Revenue Retention by leveraging existing resources: from Marketing to Biz Dev.
- Own a portfolio of key clients across VCs, corporates, public bodies and ecosystem partners
- Identify and execute expansion opportunities (new teams, use cases, geographies)
- Manage renewals and long-term account plans with a commercial mindset
Build trusted relationships and referrals
- Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Work closely with partners and ecosystem actors to encourage warm introductions and referrals
- Represent Dealroom as a long-term partner within the tech ecosystem
Leverage ecosystems to drive growth
- Use Dealroom’s ecosystem intelligence to identify local opportunities within client regions
- Help clients activate their local startup, VC and corporate networks using the platform
- Translate ecosystem insights into concrete commercial outcomes
Act as a commercial bridge internally
- Bring structured client feedback to product and leadership
- Collaborate with BD, marketing and product teams to align on expansion strategies
- Help shape how we approach account growth as we scale globally
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in account management, partnerships or enterprise sales
- Proven ability to grow and expand existing accounts, not just retain them
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders in investment, strategy, innovation or policy
- Strong relationship builder with commercial instincts
- Able to navigate complex organisations and long-term sales cycles
- Analytical and curious — you enjoy understanding clients, markets and ecosystems
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) and structured account planning
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
