ABOUT WHIP
WHIP is a B2B premium ice cream company on a mission to revolutionize the ice cream market with natural, lower-sugar, plant-based ice cream solutions. Operating across Europe, we partner with ice cream manufacturers, distributors, and HORECA clients. We are in active growth mode, with a significant pipeline ready to be converted, and we are looking for a driven sales professional to help us make it happen.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with good knowledge of the European ice cream industry. This is a part-time role (50% FTE) for a self-starter who is target-driven, commercially sharp, and hungry to build a pipeline from the ground up and converting existing leads into deals. generating new leads, nurturing prospects, and converting opportunities into lasting commercial relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Sales
– Proactively identify and generate new leads across ice cream manufacturers, distributors, and HORECA clients in Europe
– Build and grow a strong, structured pipeline — from first contact through to deal closing
– Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close deals
– Meet quarterly and annual sales targets
– Keep CRM up to date and maintain a disciplined pipeline cadence
Account Management
– Build and nurture relationships with existing clients, with focus on strategic accounts
– Represent WHIP in meetings, calls, and commercial negotiations
– Manage quotation processes, contracts, and deal terms
– Monitor client satisfaction and ensure reliable follow-through
Trade Shows & Events
– Attend international food and industry trade shows (starting June 2026)
– Represent WHIP professionally — strong presentation skills required
– Collect leads, track market trends, and identify new opportunities
Internal Collaboration
– Work as part of the whip team, directly managed by one of the founders
– Receive ongoing professional guidance from the Head of Business Development
– Provide weekly pipeline reports, progress, blockers, and next steps
– Coordinate between client requirements and production/logistics
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
– Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience in Food /FMCG. Ice cream industry experience is a strong preference
– Proven track record of hitting targets, building pipelines, and closing deals
– Strong presentation skills, in meetings, conferences, and trade shows
– English at a high professional level, Dutch is an advantage
– Willingness to travel across Europe
Nice-to-Have
– Existing network with European ice cream manufacturers or HORECA clients
– Experience with CRM tools (Pipedrive, HubSpot, or similar)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We offer a market-conform salary commensurate with your experience. In addition, we offer an attractive bonus scheme designed to reward both milestone achievements and consistent performance. Based on results, there is a clear path to grow into a full-time role (100% FTE) within 12 months, with an adjusted package to match.
