THE CLIENT
Our client, a leading global investment management firm, is seeking a Workday Analyst to join their Human Capital team in New York. This is a newly created position driven by significant company growth and offers the opportunity to play a key role in HR systems administration, reporting, employee data management, and process improvement initiatives.

THE ROLE
The Workday Analyst will support the day-to-day administration of Workday and other HR systems while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and Technology teams. This role is heavily focused on HR operations, reporting, employee data management, and systems administration rather than traditional HR Generalist responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Support Workday administration and ongoing system maintenance
- Process employee lifecycle transactions including hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders
- Support position management and organizational structure updates
- Respond to employee and internal HR inquiries related to systems and data
- Assist with annual HR processes and audits
- Participate in Workday enhancements, testing, and implementation projects
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Assist with special projects and initiatives tied to company growth
THE CANDIDATE
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Workday experience strongly preferred
- Exposure to HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, PeopleSoft, or similar systems
- Experience in HR Operations, HR coordination, data management, or systems administration preferred
- Strong Excel skills, including reporting, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels of an organization
- Experience supporting projects, reporting initiatives, or process improvements is a plus
THE COMP & BENEFITS
- Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000
- Annual bonus eligibility
- 15 days PTO
- 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and eligible dependents
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day work from home
- Typical hours of approximately 8:30 AM-5:30/6:00 PM
- Midtown Manhattan location
