Pay
$125,000 base salary + $15,000 bonus — $140,000 total compensation

Summary
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Information Security Analyst to join a dynamic and rapidly growing security team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense, focusing on alert handling, investigations, and incident response within a 24x7 environment. The ideal candidate is someone who has progressed from a SOC Analyst 2 position, with a strong technical background, proven experience in security investigations, alert triage, and the use of advanced security tools including AI-integrated capabilities. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security or related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of technical security experience, including 2+ years in a security operations role
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender, SentinelOne, Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid7 InsightIDR)
- Experience investigating alerts, phishing emails, and incident handling in a high-pressure environment
- Hands-on experience with security controls such as EDR, email security, web proxies, DLP, MFA, VPNs, and zero trust architectures
- Familiarity with cloud security, especially Azure and AWS
- Ability to write queries (e.g., KQL, SPL) and scripts (Python, PowerShell) for log analysis and automation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, Security+ or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, EDR, cloud security tools, and email security platforms
- Conduct investigations into possible security incidents, including email threats and suspicious activities
- Use AI-assisted security tools for threat detection, alert triage, and investigation efficiencies
- Respond to endpoint alerts, contain threats, and document incident details thoroughly
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team members to correlate threat data and validate alerts
- Support vulnerability management and risk assessments
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies aligned with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001 standards
- Participate in incident response efforts and security improvements initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and diagrams
