Next year, the eyes of the world will be on the Women’s World Cup. Our client is preparing to launch a slate of defining, high-visibility brand campaigns to elevate women’s football and shape the cultural narrative around the sport.
We are seeking a high-performing Brand Marketing Manager who lives and breathes women's football. This isn't just a role for a sports fan—it’s for an insider. Whether you are a former player, have worked directly within the women's club ecosystem, or know the players and the culture inside out, your authentic domain expertise will fuel end-to-end campaign strategies that resonate globally.
While the internal title is "Coordinator," the scope of this role requires a proven professional who can own the process, drive complex timelines under pressure, and confidently present campaign visions to executive leadership.
Internal Job Title: Marketing Coordinator (Women's Football)
This is an interim 6-months fixed term salaried position contracted via Aquent on behalf of our client as a third party. There is the possibility of extension. The role offers max. €55-56K /annum (pro rata) – 40 hrs/week.
Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with unrestricted rights to work in The Netherlands will be considered.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the Seasonal Offense: Lead the end-to-end project planning, execution, and localized delivery of seasonal marketing campaigns centered on women’s football innovation, athletes, and clubs.
- Own the Process: Act as the strategic engine for the campaign workflow, ensuring cross-functional marketing teams (Digital, Retail, Media, and Brand Creative) remain aligned and efficient.
- Craft the Narrative: Build high-impact, visually compelling presentations (predominantly in Apple Keynote) to communicate campaign strategy, milestones, and vision to internal stakeholders and city leads.
- Financial & Vendor Stewardship: Manage operational project budgets, negotiate vendor timelines, and optimize processes to deliver premium execution on time and within scope.
- Track Digital Journeys: Partner closely with digital teams to execute brand plans that hit specific digital KPIs, driving authentic consumer growth and engagement.
What You Bring
- Deep Women’s Football Domain Authority (Non-Negotiable): You have a profound understanding of the women's football landscape. You know the players, are acquainted with the clubs/federations, or have personal history as a competitive player.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience in brand management, sports marketing, or campaign execution. Experience with a major sportswear competitor is highly valued.
- Process Leadership: A "get-it-done" mindset with a proven track record of managing high-stress, fast-moving projects and steering cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Technical Presentation Skills: Expert-level capability in Apple Keynote. You know how to translate messy, complex data and strategies into beautiful, executive-ready decks.
- Mindset: A "Consumer-First" philosophy with a strong grasp of how sports product innovation intersects with emerging cultural and digital trends.
