Role Description
This is a contract, on-site IT Engineer role located in Rotterdam. The IT Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, providing technical support, ensuring network security, maintaining and configuring network systems, and addressing IT-related issues. The role involves hands-on problem-solving, systems maintenance, and collaborating with teams to improve technical operations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support
- Knowledge and experience in Information Technology and Networking
- Understanding of Network Security protocols and best practices
- Ability to work in a hands-on, on-site technical environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience with server, network, or storage systems is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or equivalent are beneficial
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage for global collaboration
