POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting our growing IT team and supporting critical technology initiatives while ensuring reliable day-to-day operations. This role will provide essential backup coverage, contribute to IT projects, and help scale the IT infrastructure to support anticipated business growth.
This position is on-site based at our Rozenburg, NL location.
POSITION REPORTS TO:
IT Director
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
System Administration & Support
• Provide onsite IT support and troubleshooting for end users
• Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure, servers, and network systems
• Perform system installations, configurations, and updates
• Ensure backup coverage during staff absences
• Support new employee onboarding and IT setup
• Manage user accounts and access permissions
Project Implementation and Support
• Assist with different projects IT is involved in.
• Contribute to ITSM system administration
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
• Help develop and maintain company intranet
• Support development of internal tools
• Participate in and work with other departments on Process improvement projects
Documentation & Compliance
• Create and update Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure IT systems meet cybersecurity and data compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate system documentation and user guides
• Support audit activities and compliance reporting
• Train users on new systems and applications
• Create user documentation and training materials
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with document management systems
• ITIL certification or similar ITSM credentials
• Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, healthcare, research) and Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11 regulations
• PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Web development skills (HTML, CSS, basic programming)
• SharePoint development
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
• experience in IT support and system administration
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning experience
• Basic knowledge of Computer system validation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• Associate degree or Technical Certifications in IT / IS with relevant equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a similar role in an international and distributed IT environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• English literacy
• General mathematical skills
• Working knowledge of computer networking, server and workstation maintenance, Microsoft networks and other IT related topics.
• Experience working with Windows10 and 11, Office365, PowerShell, Azure, Intune, Active Directory, Group Policies, SQL.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
