EMEA Recruitment is searching on behalf of our client, a leading global solutions provider, for a Senior Financial Controller to join their team.
The Senior Financial Controller will oversee the daily control and reporting in the Netherlands. You'll also lead global financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, manage intercompany reconciliations, support audits and acquisitions, and drive continuous improvements across systems and controls.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Financial Controller
- Lead the global monthly reporting and consolidation process across 100+ legal entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate and support international finance teams throughout the monthly reporting cycle across 70+ countries
- Oversee and enhance consolidation systems and reporting tools, including integration with business intelligence platforms
- Review financial reporting submissions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- Manage intercompany reconciliation activities to maintain consistency and alignment across the group
- Support audits, acquisitions, and group reporting requirements, including integration of new entities and preparation of statutory reports.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience within a Consolidation function in a complex, international environment, ideally complemented by relevant industry experience gained within a Big4 firm
- Strong understanding of IFRS and its practical application
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is considered an advantage
- Comfortable working in a global environment, with strong cultural awareness and adaptability
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
