Pegasus Senior Living is seeking a
Talent Acquisition Specialist to serve as a strategic recruiting partner for our communities. In this role, you will lead
full-cycle recruitment for community leadership positions, build strong candidate pipelines, and collaborate closely with community leaders to strengthen hiring outcomes and support workforce stability.

What You’ll Do
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for leadership roles across assigned communities.
- Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, direct outreach, and networking.
- Build and maintain pipelines for leadership and hard-to-fill roles.
- Identify new sourcing strategies to increase applicant flow and expand reach.
- Develop a strong understanding of each community, its roles, and the local labor market.
Strategic Community Partnership
- Serve as a strategic recruiting partner aligned with community staffing needs and operational goals.
- Collaborate with Executive Directors, Business Office Directors, and Department Heads to assess hiring needs.
- Support workforce stabilization by helping reduce overtime and agency reliance.
- Train hiring leaders on interviewing, selection, ATS use, and recruiting best practices.
- Participate in regular meetings to review hiring needs, pipeline status, and staffing challenges.
Recruiting Operations & Process Excellence
- Follow established recruiting processes and recommend improvements.
- Apply screening and selection criteria to evaluate candidates and assess organizational fit.
- Maintain accurate, timely data in the ATS and other recruiting tools.
- Ensure consistent communication with hiring managers and candidates throughout the process.
External Partnerships & Outreach
- Provide guidance on external recruiting opportunities and outreach strategies.
- Share referral networks and connections to support ongoing hiring needs.
- Communicate career fairs, hiring events, and outreach activities to community leaders.
- Highlight partnerships with schools, training programs, and externship pipelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare or senior living recruiting preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Sound judgment with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight stays.
