Disney Entertainment Television is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Head of Casting. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has a passion for the entertainment industry.
As the Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Casting by managing complex administrative tasks, anticipating needs, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including talent, agents, and senior executives, and help drive the success of the Casting department.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Head of Casting, including managing a dynamic calendar, coordinating meetings, and preparing for daily engagements.
- Act as a trusted liaison between the Head of Casting and internal teams, talent representatives, and external partners.
- Handle all communications with professionalism and discretion, including phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and logistics.
- Prepare and process expense reports in a timely manner.
- Draft, edit, and format presentations, casting memos, and other documents with accuracy and polish.
- Track deadlines and deliverables across multiple casting projects and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support casting events, talent outreach, and internal presentations as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Provide general office support to the Casting team, including managing supplies and coordinating with facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of executive support experience on a high-volume desk, preferably in a Studio environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with high-level executives, talent, and partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Concur, SAP, Workday systems, Airtable, and Zoom.
- Familiarity with IMDB, Studio System, ESN, VPO, PIX, CastIt, and FastCapture.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $65,300 to $87,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
