We are looking for an experienced HR Program Manager to play a key role in designing, leading, and executing the broader team’s strategic talent deliverables. Designed as a uniquely blended role with a primary emphasis on strategic program management, complemented by dedicated HR Business Partner responsibilities, this position will work closely with the HR Business Partner team to architect and drive specific HR programs and initiatives that attract, engage, and retain talent, while also providing targeted day-to-day HR Support to a defined talent group.
Key Responsibilities
HR Program Management
- Program Leadership & Strategy: Partner with HR leadership to architect, manage, and drive overarching, strategic HR programs and long-term initiatives. The scope of these programs will be dynamic and high-impact, spanning a broad spectrum of the talent lifecycle ranging from strategic organizational design and change management frameworks to broader cultural and organizational health initiatives.
- HR Operations & Excellence: Partner with broader talent teams to lead the smooth execution, optimization, and operation of key Netflix HR cyclical processes (e.g., compensation planning, 360 feedback) and other specialized talent practices.
- HR Metrics & Analytics:
- Leverage, interpret, and analyze people and organizational data to drive the HR agenda and deliver high-level strategic recommendations.
- Define and own the framework to report on key HR metrics on a regular cadence, translating data into actionable insights and data-driven recommendations for leadership.
- Provide advanced data analysis support and consulting to HR Partners as needed.
- Cross-Functional Alignment & Governance: Act as a highly collaborative connector across the HRBP ecosystem, ensuring strategic alignment between the NAS PM & Operations teams, specialized internal leads, and the broader Streaming organization Talent PMs and overarching organizational goals.
HR Partnership to the Business
- Targeted HR Support: Partner with primary HR leadership to own or co-own the day-to-day HR partnership for a specifically defined client group. Coach and guide managers on leadership effectiveness, inclusion & diversity, and organizational health.
- Talent Navigation: Act as a centralized Talent contact and escalation point for assigned group(s), triaging complex inquiries and seamlessly connecting questions to the appropriate subject-matter expert/team when necessary (e.g., Talent Experience and Operations (TEO), Talent Acquisition (TA), etc.).
- Employee Relations: Take the lead, and partner closely with the ER team, on the strategy and facilitation of complex employee/ER matters (e.g., terminations & exits, long-term disability, LOAs).
- Employment Lifecycle & Talent Strategy: Actively partner with managers to guide them through full employment lifecycle touchpoints, ensuring a heavy focus on talent experience, talent management, and programmatic talent delivery.

- Adaptable, Agile & Resilient: Has a proven ability to think strategically and move quickly, manage competing priorities, and navigate ambiguity to make difficult tradeoffs to meet deadlines, especially in highly dynamic, evolving business environments.
Experience
- Minimum of 5–7+ years of experience organizing, managing, and executing complex programs and initiatives across various HR fields (organizational design, workforce planning, talent metrics), ideally reflecting a blended HR/Operations environment where strategic program management is the primary focus.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and proficient in Google Workspace platform including Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides.
- Relevant, progressive Human Resources experience partnering with managers across full employment lifecycle touchpoints, serving as a strong, consultative complement to a foundational program management skill set.
- Strong business acumen with the demonstrated ability to drive recommendations and influence prioritization
- Experience operating within in a complex, matrixed, global organization
At NAS, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your compensation. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, location, skills, and experience. The overall market range for this role is typically $184,000 - 330,000. This reflects total compensation; we do not have bonuses.
